Does the PDC still publish The Philosopher’s Index?

No. PDC has not published The Philosopher’s Index since 1995.

The editor, Dr. Richard Lineback, took over as publisher at that time. All questions about The Philosopher’s Index should be addressed to him.

PDC continues to support bibliographic coverage of philosophical literature through PhilPapers. This open access resource contains over 2 million listings in several languages, and is the largest research database in the field.
