Aristotle’s Definition of Phýsis in Physics B 1

Is in Physics B 1 where Aristotle establishes a precise definition of phýsis. In a first instance, Aristotle distinguishes phýsis from téchnē and his domain, in order to offer a satisfactory account of the physical beings. In this process, phýsis is defined as an immanent principle of movement and as matter and as form. We reconstruct Aristotle’s reasoning on that topic, emphasizing on the problems that such effort of definition implies.
