Proceedings of the XIth International Congress of Philosophy

Compiled by the Belgian Organizing Committee

The 11th International Congress of Philosophy was held in Brussels in 1953. It was sponsored by the prominent Belgian universities and philosophical societies, and the International Federation of Philosophical Societies. The Proceedings of the XIth International Congress of Philosophy were published in 14 volumes containing hundreds of contributions in English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish. The collection includes papers presented at the plenary sessions, symposia, and the various sections.

Contributors include A. J. Ayer, Eugène Dupréel, Paul Häberlin, Sidney Hook, Ludwig Landgrebe, Jan Łukasiewicz, Maurice Nédoncelle, Enzo Paci, Karl Popper, W. V. Quine, and Georg Henrik von Wright.
