The Society for Philosophy and Technology Quarterly Electronic Journal was established as a venue for philosophical reflection on technology and the social problems associated with technology. It succeeded the Society's book series and was established in electronic format reach a larger audience. Since 2000 the journal has been published as Techné: Research in Philosophy and Technology.
