Video Introduction

  • What does Quaestiones Disputatae Publish?

This journal addresses significant questions and topics of contemporary philosophic interest in the spirit of the medieval quaestiones disputatae. Recognizing that significant philosophical contributions are found among philosophers of various backgrounds and outlooks, the journal is not limited to a particular period of philosophy, nor is it representative of a specific philosophic school or point of view.

Each issue is devoted to a special theme. An issue may focus on a topic in a particular area of philosophy, on the work of a significant philosopher, on the examination and study of an important text of philosophy, or on the valuable contributions of a particular philosophical school or movement.

Questions about forthcoming topics should be addressed to the editor, Dr. Paul Symington, at [email protected]
