Philosophy Research Archives

An International Scholarly Journal

William P. Alston, Founding Editor

The Philosophy Research Archives were established by the Philosophy Documentation Center, American Philosophical Association, and the Canadian Philosophical Association in 1975 as a solution to the space limitations of traditional print journals. Microfiche was the original format of publication and no limit was placed on the length of submissions. The concept was developed in cooperation with the American Council of Learned Societies and the Humanities Research Council of Canada. All volumes are freely accessible.
