No specific methodology or philosophical orientation is required for submissions. Established in 1940, the journal's past editors include Marvin Farber and Roderick Chisholm. Philosophy and Phenomenological Research is published bi-monthly by Wiley-Blackwell and is the official organ of the International Phenomenological Society.
