Philosophy Now is a unique philosophy magazine aimed at both specialists and the general public. Its primary purpose is to show that philosophy can be exciting and comprehensible for general readers, while also providing informed reading for philosophy students and academics. It is a showcase for original philosophy written in a lively and nontechnical style that is ideal for students, teachers, and general readers.

Philosophy Now contains articles on all aspects of Western philosophy, as well as book reviews, interviews, letters, news, cartoons, and occasional poems. Its broad appeal has made it the most widely read philosophy publication in the English-speaking world. Subscriptions in the U.S. are managed by the Philosophy Documentation Center.
