Philosophy in Russia: Towards an Apologia of Freedom

The author formulates his disagreement with a position that modern Russian philosophy is going through a period of decay. He argues that in the last two decades many new trends popular abroad have appeared and have been developed in Russia. The author states his confidence that discussions among the representatives of these philosophical trends will result in a new ascent of philosophy in Russia.
