The Eigthth International Congress of Philosophy was held in Prague in September 1934. It was sponsored by the Permanent International Organizing Committee, with support from the government of Czechoslovakia and the country's major universities. The Actes du huitième Congrès International de Philosophie were published in 1936, with contributions in French, English, German, and Italian. The volume includes papers presented at the meeting, transcripts of discussions, and letters to the Congress from Edmund Husserl and Ferdinand Tönnies.
