The first International Congress of Philosophy was held in Paris during the Exposition Universelle in 1900. It was sponsored by an international committee of philosophers and academicians from France, Germany, Great Britain, Austria-Hungary, Belgium, Denmark, Italy, The Netherlands, Russia, Switzerland, Sweden, and the U.S. The Bibliothèque du Congrès International de Philosophie was published after the conference in four volumes. The entire collections will be freely accessible on this site.
