The theme of the twenty-second World Congress of Philosophy, held in Seoul in 2008, was 'Rethinking Philosophy Today'. The event was sponsored by the Korean Philosophical Association, in cooperation with the Fédération Internationale des Sociétés de Philosophie. This volume contains outstanding papers presented at the plenary sessions, symposia, and Endowed Lectures of this congress.
