The Irish Philosophical Journal was a peer-reviewed scholarly forum for philosophical discourse in Ireland. Its pages were open to all schools and styles of philosophy, as well as papers originally presented at the meetings of the Irish Philosophical Club, the Irish Philosophical Society, and the National Committee for Philosophy of the Royal Irish Academy. The journal was supported by the Irish Philosophical Society, Royal Irish Academy, the Philosophy Department at Mary Immaculate College in Limerick, the Philosophy Department of University College in Galway, and Queen's University in Belfast. It ceased publication in 1990.
