An Assessment of Community Economic Impact in California

This paper analyzes the impact of casino gaming in California. Presently, casino gaming activity is limited to Native American tribal lands. Therefore, the relevant impacts are economic, social and cultural. The current study focuses on the direct and indirect economic impacts of gaming and on the uses of gaming proceeds.
