Celebrating 50 Years of Professional Service
Win free online access to a great philosophy collection!
The Philosophy Documentation Center has served the philosophical community on a non-profit basis since 1966. We continue to grow and everyone in the profession has contributed to our success. To express our thanks we have made all volumes of the Philosophy Research Archives freely available online in perpetuity. This publication was established by PDC, the APA and the Canadian Philosophical Association, in cooperation with the American Council of Learned Societies and the Humanities Research Council of Canada.
We are also giving 10 people free online access to this great collection for an entire year. It includes contributions from most of the major figures in 20th century philosophy.
- World Congress of Philosophy Collection (110 volumes, 1900-2015) - Includes volumes published after the World Congresses in Austria, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Korea, Mexico, The Netherlands, Turkey, the U.S. and other countries. Most of these volumes are available online for the first time.
- The American Philosophical Association Centennial Series (11 volumes, 1901-2000) - Includes work by John Dewey, Carl Hempel, William James, Herbert Marcuse, Martha Nussbaum, John Rawls, Hans Reichenbach, Richard Rorty, Gregory Vlastos, and other prominent philosophers.
