Discourse was established in 2001 to support teaching and learning in philosophical and religious studies across the United Kingdom. It published peer-reviewed articles, reviews, and reports in support of teaching in these fields. The journal was published by the Subject Centre for Philosophical and Religious Studies of the Higher Education Academy, and was available to all individuals working in UK higher education. It ceased publication in 2011.
