Sartre: Bibliography 1980-1992

Michel Rybalka & Michel Contat, Editors

Picking up where the work of F. L. Lapointe (1981) left off, this new bibliography has more than 6,000 reference points providing thorough coverage of Jean-Paul Sartre from 1980 to 1992. More than 3,400 main entries are clearly presented in chronological order. Also included are 200 doctoral theses, a name index with more than 2,400 authors, and a book index.

The editors, Michel Rybalka (Washington University, St. Louis) and Michel Contat (Director of Research, Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique, Paris) are specialists in contemporary literature and have co-edited several books on Sartre.

"Any library would be advised to purchase this volume. It supplements the previous bibliographies well, and it will certainly be useful for researchers in a number of disciplines."--American Reference Books Annual
