Semiotics 2010 contains the proceedings of the 35th annnual meeting of the Semiotic Society of America, held in October 2010. The Semiotic Society of America is an interdisciplinary professional organization that supports innovative scholarship linking analytical and critical approaches to the postmodern world. Each year it sponsors a meeting organized around a particular theme, and each conference volume is based on the theme of the conference. The theme of this meeting was "The Semiotics of Space". It attracted a wide gamut of approaches from several disciplines. Contributors included John Coletta, Marcel Danesi, Sara Eimer, Frank Nuessel, Donna West, and many others.
