Subscription Fulfillment

The Philosophy Documentation Center provides prompt and reliable subscription fulfillment for journals of all sizes in philosophy and other disciplines. Subscription payments can be accepted by check, credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover) or institutional purchase order, and the following services can be provided for each journal:

preparation and mailing of renewal notices and invoices

prompt mailing of new issues to all subscribers

processing of all orders, payments, and claims

tracking of expiration dates, advance payments, and arrears

friendly and knowledgeable service on all claims and inquiries

Free advertising is also provided with the subscription fulfillment package. Each journal is included in PDC catalogs and exchange advertising with other journals is available. Copies of each journal are included in the special Journal Collection and catalog that PDC creates for each meeting of the American Philosophical Association. This is by far the largest collection of journals displayed at these meetings, with dozens of journals from many different publishers. Journals are also displayed at other philosophy conventions and professional meetings around the country each year. Subscription information for each journal is listed on agency price lists sent annually to hundreds of subscription agents around the world. The PDC will also help increase indexing coverage of each journal in appropriate abstracting and indexing databases produced in Belgium, Britain, France, Germany, and the United States. Specialized marketing plans are also available.
