  • At each meeting of the American Philosophical Association the Philosophy Documentation Center hosts a large journal display, including over 70 journals from many different publishers. These displays offer editors and publishers a reliable way to present their journals to thousands of colleagues and potential subscribers at a fraction of the cost of renting and manning exhibition space. They also give potential authors, reviewers, and department library representatives an opportunity to browse these journal. We produce a special journal catalog for these meetings that includes contact information and pricing for all participating titles. The cost is modest, and both multi-meeting and multi-title discounts are available.

Publishers can also have their books, DVDs, or other products displayed at these meetings. We reserve prime booth space at all events, and books are displayed in a combined PDC booth. Trained staff are present to represent your titles and your company in an effective and professional manner. We will distribute publishers' catalogs and title information, accept orders, gather lists of people wishing to review particular titles, and provide a convenient meeting place for authors and publisher representatives. Publishers whose books have been displayed in the past include: Editions Rodopi, Purdue University Press, Harvard University Press, St. Martin's Press, Transaction Publishers, Verso, University of North Carolina Press, St. Augustine Press, University of Pittsburgh Press, Walter de Gruyter, and Westview Press.
