Claims Policy - Journals
Claims for missing journal issues will be honored if made within six months of publication for U.S. addresses and, in most cases, within twelve months for non-U.S. addresses. Journal publication dates are often delayed. Please confirm the publication date and allow 4 weeks for periodical-rate mailing to U.S. addresses and 16 weeks to non-U.S. addresses prior to claiming. Please provide purchase order numbers, invoice numbers, and photocopies of checks with your claim to facilitate processing. Journal issues will only be replaced one time at no charge.
Approximate mailing dates of print issues are available online. Please see the Current Print Issues link under "For Subscribers" on the right side of each journal's home page. You can also get this information by e-mail to claims [@] pdcnet.org, by phone to 434-220-3300, or by fax to 434-220-3301.
In some cases customers experience repeated problems with the regular delivery of print journal issues through the mail. In such cases we reserve the right to offer an electronic alternative to a print subscription. The terms to be offered will be set by us in a manner best suited to meet the needs of the journal and the customer. We strongly encourage all customers in India and the Philippines to choose online subscription options to guarantee receipt of all issues. Additional shipping may be charged to send replacement issues.

Return Policy - Books & Electronic Media
Your satisfaction is guaranteed or we will refund your purchase price. Returns will be accepted within six months of shipment if the publication is still in print and the item returned is still in saleable condition. Returns should be packed sufficiently to ensure the safe and undamaged return of the item, and sent by some trackable method to guarantee delivery. We cannot accept returns for items returned in non-saleable condition. Authorization must be obtained prior to the return of any publication. No credit will be given for unauthorized returns. Once your return is received and inspected, we will process your refund and send a credit memo or apply a credit to your credit card.
If you receive an item damaged in shipment, please call us immediately for a replacement. Original purchase order number and/or our invoice number must be cited.
