International Association for Environmental Philosophy (IAEP)

The International Association for Environmental Philosophy is a non-profit organization that provides a forum for wide-ranging philosophical discussion of nature and the human relation to the natural environment. IAEP embraces a broad understanding of environmental philosophy, including not only environmental ethics, but also environmental aesthetics, ontology, and theology, philosophy of science, ecofeminism, and philosophy of technology

For IAEP, environmental philosophy is both rigorous and engaged. It encourages joint meetings with other academic disciplines and supports interdisciplinary student internships. We welcome a diversity of approaches to environmental issues and membership is open to all who share these concerns. More information about IAEP is available at www.environmentalphilosophy.org.

IAEP membership services are provided by the Philosophy Documentation Center. Current members can renew their membership on this site and non-members may join at any time.

Annual membership includes a print subscription with online access to Environmental Philosophy (2004-present) and online access to Call to Earth (2000-2003).

NOTE: the term of membership is a calendar year. All memberships expire December 31.
