Fichte-Studien

The Journal of the International Johann-Gottlieb-Fichte-Society

Marco Ivaldo and Hartmut Traub, Editors

Fichte-Studien is a peer-reviewed journal focused on the work and legacy of the German idealist philosopher Johann Gottlieb Fichte. The journal explores the philosophical dimensions of Fichte’s transcendental thought, and examines the historical context and contemporary discussions that shaped Fichte’s development. Each thematic volume contains a mix of original articles, reviews, and discussions. Most contributions are in German, but the journal also publishes original work on Fichte in English and French. The journal is sponsored by the International Johann-Gottlieb-Fichte-Society and is a major source for all students of German idealism.
