Conference Registrations and Related Services

The Philosophy Documentation Center manages conference registrations and related services for several professional organizations. Individuals may register by phone or online through the PDC's web site, and we are currently accepting registrations for the following meetings:

We collect all registration payments for each meeting on behalf of these organizations, and maintain a complete payment history for each conference participant. Conference fees can be paid by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, or Discover) and the PDC pays all credit card processing fees. Registrations may also be paid by check in US funds and conference participants in the US and Canada may call us toll free at 800-444-2419 to make their payments by credit card. Our software allows us to track different categories of conference participant and payment receipts can be provided. We can also provide on site registration service at your meeting, including pre-printed name badges, tickets for banquets or other special events, and supervision of an exhibit area for relevant publications. Please note that we only provide these conference services for organizations whose membership lists are managed by PDC.

If you wish to have an exhibit of publications at your meeting we can manage contacts with publishers to arrange for the shipment of appropriate materials. Publishers with whom we have worked at such meetings include Ashgate Publishing, Blackwell Publishing, Cambridge University Press, Darden Business Publishing, McGraw-Hill, Oxford University Press, Sage Publications, Springer, Taylor & Francis, University of Chicago Press, University of Toronto Press, Wadsworth, and Yale University Press.

Each set of conference arrangements has its own special requirements and should be planned as far in advance as possible. Please note that these services do not include the making of individual travel arrangements or hotel reservations. Organizations for whom we have provided conference registration services include:
