The 19th annual meeting of the International Association for Business
and Society (IABS) will be held June 26-29, 2008, in Tampere, Finland.
The theme of the conference is Social Challenges to Globalization.
This conference will examine some of these issues, including
environmental degradation, income inequality, labor issues, plant
closings, and other human rights issues, and explore some possible
solutions.
The cost of early registration is $395 for individuals and $345 for students
until May 9, 2008. From May 9 until June 15 (the final deadline for
online registration) the cost is $445 for all registrants. More information about the conference and recreational activities in Tampere, Finland is

At least one of the authors of each paper must be registered
by May 9
for their paper to remain on the program. Only panelists or symposium
members registered by May 9 will have their names appear in the program or
Proceedings.
